ISHRS Hold 15th Annual Meeting in Las Vegas

The 15th Annual Meeting of the International Society of Hair Restoration Society took place in Las Vegas, USA, September 26-30, 2007. It was one of the highest attended meetings of the society and was certainly a big success. Both Drs Farjo were in attendance as well as 5 members of their staff reflecting their emphasis on the importance of continuing medical education and professional development. As a matter of fact two of our surgical assisting staff were on the faculty list for the assistants meeting. Sara Roberts RN lectured on the Farjo approach to new staff recruitment and training, while Julie Edwards joined an expert panel on managing a variety of patient situations.

Dr Nilofer Farjo was invited by the Program Chair, Dr Sharon Keene, to lecture on the subject of Infection Control in the surgery environment. She also attended a Global Council meeting made up of the presidents from individual country associations. Dr Bessam Farjo was asked to be Moderator for a 2 hour General Session during the Scientific Program. This was in addition to his duties at meetings of the ISHRS Executive Committee, Board of Governors as well as Board of Directors meeting of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery
