22nd April 2016
Ex-England football player and former Manchester City assistant manager, David Platt, shows off his hair transplant results after he became one of the first people in Europe to have a FUE hair transplant assisted by a robot. David Platt’s hair procedure included around 2,500 grafts of hair microscopically harvested.
The football pundit joined an elite group who have benefited from the cutting edge technology at the Farjo Hair Institute. The intelligent robotic software, the ARTAS system was used. The robot transplants hairs from the back of his head to the front of his scalp. The grafts total around 5,000 hair and you can also see from the video that there is virtually no scarring.
David had a long career after coming through the youth system at Manchester United. He played for Crewe Alexandra, Aston Villa, Bari, Juventus, Sampdoria, Arsenal and Nottingham Forest. Along the way, he collected 62 England caps and scored a famous last-minute goal at Italia ’90.
