Drs Farjo have teamed up with Professor Philpott at University of London again. This time we are researching the extent of the benefits to the hair of using a different solution to store the hair grafts. Over the last several months, we have been using a specialised anti-oxidant solution to store the hair grafts in once they have been harvested from the patients’ donor area. This particular solution is used in the NHS to store organs such as hearts and kidneys while they are being transported before a transplant.
Our impression is that the hairs are staying on the scalp rather than the usual fall out after a week or two. Also it appears that the hairs are growing and maturing faster.
Keep an eye on our R&D page for updates on our research findings on this subject.
