Regenera Activa
Regenera is a new non-surgical treatment that works through the unique concept of Autologous Micro-grafting. This uses your own scalp’s tissue containing regenerative cells to help halt the hair loss process and strengthen the existing hair follicles with the aim of increasing hair quality and the appearance of density. Through the combination of stem cell precursors, growth factors and progenitor cells it allows for tissue renewal and rejuvenation.
It involves taking a very small biopsy from the back of the neck where strong follicles are located – all under local anaesthetic. This biopsy aims to extract the stem cells, progenitor cells and growth factors. Once collected this is filtered through a machine and regenerated into a serum to inject into the scalp amongst the thinning hairs.
The process is minimally invasive and involves 3 steps:
1) Harvesting graft tissue using a small biopsy tool
2) Mechanical processing and filtration through the specialised machine
3) Injecting the specialised cells to the targeted area
Unlike a traditional hair transplant, one significant benefit to note is that there is zero downtime, allowing you to return to your daily activities straight away. The process is quick and efficient, lasting around 1 hour in the treatment room. Alongside this the only given sign you’ve had anything done is the small biopsy holes which are easy to cover up and disguise with a band aid.
