Imperial College Hosts EHRS Conference
2nd July 2006
June 2006 brought the 12th conference of the European Hair Research Society (EHRS) to the Imperial College in London chaired by renowned dermatologist and hair loss expert, Dr Andrew Messenger. Both Drs Farjo attended as they were the only British hair restoration doctors with a scientific presentation. Their poster featured a patient with the skin condition of Keratosis pilaris atrophicans/ulerythema oophyrogenes. This condition causes severe redness, dryness and damages the hair in the affected area. Our patient had both his eyebrows affected by this condition. Drs Farjo enlisted the help of a dermatologist Prof R Groves to reduce the redness, after which they successfully restored his eyebrows with hair transplant surgery.
