We’re excited to officially introduce Dr Zayn Sattar, our newest Hair Transplant Surgeon, who joined the Farjo Hair Institute almost a year ago. In that time, he has already made a lasting impression with both patients and staff, thanks to his compassionate approach, charisma, enthusiasm and keen eye for detail.
A Background Rooted in Medicine and Surgical Precision
Dr Sattar brings with him over eight years of NHS experience, working across both primary and secondary care. He completed his General Practice training in 2023 and has trained extensively in medical and surgical specialties, developing a particular interest in hands-on procedures and surgical skills.
His natural progression into the field of hair transplant surgery was driven by a combination of surgical curiosity and a passion for helping those with hair loss concerns. With his holistic medical background, Zayn takes time to understand each patient’s goals and is committed to delivering results that are both natural-looking and long-lasting.

Dr Sattar’s journey at Farjo began when he approached us independently, requesting to observe a day of hair transplant procedures. Impressed by his calm presence, curiosity and professional manner, our Co-Founders and leading hair transplant surgeons, Dr Bessam Farjo and Dr Nilofer Farjo, knew he would be a great fit for the expanding team.
“After our initial meeting, we advised him on further training and suggested a live surgery workshop to attend. He committed fully and we decided to offer him a place at Farjo, on the condition that we train him from scratch, the Farjo way.”
The 3 months hands-on mentorship has ensured that Dr Sattar has been shaped by our scientific and surgical standards and artistic philosophies from day one. He has immersed himself in the technical literature, attended live surgical training, and has been personally trained and influenced in-clinic by both Dr Bessam Farjo and Dr Nilofer Farjo.
