Al-Sharqiya is an Arabic-speaking satellite TV station broadcast all over the world including the UK. They spent a whole day at Farjo filming surgery and conducting interviews. As well as the state of the art surgery, they were articularly interested in the cell therapy human clinical trial taking place.
The day’s filming resulted in a feature documentary on the subject. Dr Bessam Farjo left his native Iraq at 19 years of age and is fluent in Arabic. However he was certainly relieved to have managed to go through the show with minimal English thrown in!
