Procedure Overview
Tim Samuels is a successful and award-winning documentary maker, author, and broadcaster who has spent a significant portion of his career with various parts of the BBC.
Tim first approached Farjo back in 2018 at the age 42, looking to restore hair in his bald crown. By then, he had already undergone 2 successful strip FUT hair transplant procedures in the USA to his hairline and the frontal scalp. He was also successfully stabilising his hair loss with topical minoxidil (Regaine).
Tim eventually waited until 2022 when he revisited us and this time we recommended an FUE procedure to fill the crown and a small touch-up behind his left hairline. We achieved 1656 grafts containing 4206 hair follicles.
By the time of his surgery with us, he was doing work with the Evening Standard newspaper. Tim thought it would be extremely interesting to the public and helpful for other people with hair loss if he wrote a major piece of his hair experience in the Evening Standard.
