Dr Bessam Farjo Is New ISHRS President

Dr Bessam Farjo was formally appointed President of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery and takes up this office from October 1, 2007. He becomes the 15th President and the first from Europe of the Chicago-based society.

First established in 1993, the ISHRS is the world’s largest society dedicated to the advancement of the art and science of hair restoration surgery and medicine. It is a non-profit medical association of over 700 physicians specializing in alopecia and hair loss. The ISHRS provides continuing education to physicians specializing in hair transplant and restoration surgery and gives the public the latest information on medical hair restoration and non-surgical treatment for hair loss.
