Dr Bessam Farjo was interviewed by Nick Gowing on ‘The Hub’ program on the BBC World News channel on March 22, 2012.
This was on the back of the latest research unveiled from University of Pennsylvania showing the discovery of PGD2. This is a prostaglandin type molecule that inhibited hair growth in mice. In the background behind Dr Farjo is Salford Quays, the beautiful setting for Media City and the new home of the BBC. In fact, HM The Queen and HRH Prince Philip officially opened the site the day after this interview!
