The 16th Annual Scientific Meeting of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery was held in Montreal, Canada on September 4-7, 2008. The meeting was hailed a great success by the delegates who enjoyed lectures, workshops, surgery demonstrations and scientific debate on controversial issues. It was held at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel.
Dr Bessam Farjo in his capacity as the society’s President, oversaw a well organised and coordinated event. In his opening address he emphasised the various ISHRS achievements over the past year as well as some of the challenges faced. He expressed his gratitude to colleagues’ and staff’s support and thanked everyone for giving him the opportunity to serve.
