Manchester model Matt Peacock has opened up about why losing his hair made him think he’d also lose his career. He also reflects on the pressure on people in the spotlight to maintain their looks. The father-of-one, who has been the face and body of leading global brands, feared his his livelihood would end because of his receding hairline.

Matt, 37, whose high-profile exes include Katie Price and Page 3 favourite Rhian Sugden, has spent two decades as the face of leading brands including Land Rover, Gigs Eyewear and wine firm Laithwaites as well as a string of television appearances. The dad-of-one opted for a hair transplant by Dr Bessam Farjo at the Farjo Hair Institute Quay Street clinic in Manchester. He is now opening up on why he went under the knife.
