How Quickly Will I See Hair Transplant Results?
19th November 2015
Actor & Comedian, Sanjeev Bhaskar OBE, talks more about hair transplant results with Dr Bessam Farjo. Dr Farjo is the lead surgeon at the Farjo Hair Institute and compares with his own hair transplant surgery experience.
You can expect evidence of surgery to last around ten days. After this period, Dr Farjo explains that the marks begin to fade. The hair that was transplanted may also begin to fall out in the three weeks following the procedure. Results vary, but around 3-4 months post-surgery, you should start to see little hairs coming through. From here it is a very gradual process. Reviews will take place around eight months on but the ultimate result can be expected after 12-14 months.
Sanjeev and Dr Farjo discuss the cycles hair goes through and why you should not be alarmed if you have little hairs falling out. This is all part of the process on the way to the ultimate hair transplant results.
