BBC News 24 interviews Dr Bessam Farjo about new stem cell research and hair transplant surgery

Following the news story on January 5, 2011 about a new hair loss scientific publication, BBC News 24 TV channel interviewed Dr Bessam Farjo from the Farjo Hair Institute for his expert opinion. The research showed that balding hairs have less progenitor cells but the same number of stem cells. This could lead to new cell based therapies for hair loss in the future following more research.
